What kinds of alternative energy should be available today?
Major corporations like Sharp who used to be into simple communications and household appliances now makes solar panels. Between solar panels, wind mills, and methane gas from animals could we replace more than half of the energy costs we currently place in foreign oil?
In my opinion these types of renewable energies have not been given as options because corporations have not figured out the best ways to continue to make profits on the products.
After all once solar panels are on your home providing energy and you harvest it in a generator that runs at night there is no one else to pay. Its not like a company can cut you off from the sun if you don't pay them every month.
